Spring Break

These wonderful people came from Texas to spend Spring Break with us. Daniel's Spring Break was the same week as Grace and Emily, so that worked out great!
The picture above was actually the last pose. As you can see by the faces of the two people on the bottom, they were feeling the strain.

I suggested that Brett, Maureen, Grace and Emily use this photo for their next Christmas card. They didn't seem to agree.

Mommy Maureen

Grace, Brett, and Emily. The inevitable 'bunny ears' are cropped.

Silly Emily! I love her pigtails.

We spent part of a day at the Georgia Aquarium which was full of people from Alabama. Georgia kids were still in school. Good Uncle Brett pushed Daniel through one of the tunnels....on his knees!

Here are Grandma and Daniel in front of the big tank. The fish are so colorful and beautiful, both big and little. Seems like the little ones are the most beautiful.

After the aquarium, we went to the World of Coke which is just across the grassy knoll from the aquarium. Here are those Texas visitors again minus one.

Grace was a good chauffer for Daniel.

Aren't they beautiful? Grandma's favorite grandchildren in the entire world!

Grandma likes Coke a lot, too. Diet Coke, actually.

Coke has a wall of inspiring people where you can listen to their stories on telephones.

Wow, we look like we're hard at work!

These pictures are from our first sewing session at our church, Taylor Road Baptist Church. Everyone is working so hard and we're accomplishing so much for the children of Brazil. Someday we hope to expand to sewing projects for other groups closer to home as their needs are brought to our attention. The fellowship is wonderful and we're getting many dresses, shorts, skirts, and T-shirts ready for the Missions Team to take to Brazil. A representative from an area hospice visited us and suggested some ideas that were needed for their clients. The list is endless!

We're planning to meet every second and fourth Tuesday of the month with an extra day scheduled when the spirit moves. We're having fun!

Life in Alabama

What do you mean I'm not supposed to be up here?

They tell me it's turkey season in Alabama, but Nikki is still going after the duck! She loves to carry it all over the house and flaunt it in Greta's face.

Here's our new yard man, hard at work!

Daniel was so proud of himself for being able to help Grandpa pick up the leaves.

What a great way to pass time!

Every Stitch a Prayer

Our ministry to Brazil just got started. We're making reversible, cotton sundresses, shorts, skirts, and T-shirts for the children in Brazil and they will be taken to the children by our missions team from Taylor Road Baptist church in Montgomery, AL. Here are my friend, Marie, and I just after we finished decorating the bulletin board at our church.

Sarah and Aux, busy at work!

Kaye is checking out her work.

Here's a crew for ya!

We actually look like we're working.

Let's be a blessing!
