We are presently in Albuquerque, enjoying a visit from Terri. Greta was very excited to see her as she is one of Greta's favorite people. And we were equally as glad to see her after being away from home for four months. Today we enjoyed a worship service at our campground. The audience of four was small but the service was very nice. After lunch we went up to Sandria Peak on the Tramway, the longest tram ride in the United States. The views of the city were beautiful and the mountain was beautiful with her fall colors.
After the Montana Rally in Minden, Nevada we spent three night at Zion River RV Resort with Steve and Vicki, our friends from the rally, who introduced us to fellow Montana owners, Harmon and Ruth. We taught them to play Turkey Toes dominoes and they proved to be enthusiastic competitors. Some players even came to blows with one another, but it was all in fun. On our last night of competition, we were joined by more Montana owners, Bill and Helen. We had a mini-rally complete with the new traditional farewell, "Happy Trails", as we drove off the last morning. Such great new friends we have.
After leaving the beauty of Zion National Park, we were awed by the vast beauty of the Grand Canyon. How can anyone view these creative masterpieces and still deny that there is a God? It's hard to understand. The complexity and detail of these natural wonders are beyond description. Even as we looked across the canyon, it was hard to believe that it was real.
We're on the last leg of our five month trip and will soon be visiting with our granddaughters in Fort Worth and our grandson in Brentwood, TN. What a way to wrap up a wonderful trip.
