Before we left Gooseneck State Park, we had one more challenge to experience. Just north of the entrance to the park was a road that seemed to lead to nowhere. The signs were challenging.......10% grades, 5 MPH switchbacks and weight restrictions of 12,000 pounds. Besides that, driving up a road that you can't even see has got to be exciting! And it was!
The drive was already interesting and then we saw the eighteen wheeler coming down on the curves fully loaded with bales of hay. We pulled over and gave him the right-of-way.

Not everyone has made it down the road safely.
Someone lost their trailer on the side of the cliff.
